I believe the what the Bible says about the Creation of the world. That being said, my purpose here is not to prove or disprove Creation or Darwinian Evolution, but to show that the two are mutually exclusive. I do not believe that you can believe in both God and Darwinian Evolution. My question here is not "Do you believe in God?" but rather "Do you believe God?" As it says in Hebrews 11: Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
For a christian to claim they believe in Darwin's theory of Evolution is to call God a liar. Genesis chapter 1 describes the creation story. The world was created in Six days, and the seventh day, God rested.
There are two types of evolution referred to by the evolutionists. Those are change over time within a species, and change from one species to another. The first was designed into all life by God. Children of whatever species always differ from their parents. The second type requires death to drive it. This is clearly impossible for a christian to believe for the Bible says that sin entered the world by one man -- Adam -- and death by sin. When the sin problem is resolved, then life on this planet will no longer be subject to death and the earth will be recreated in its original perfect state.
Darwinian Evolution teaches that all species in existence today arose from common ancestors. This too is contradicted in the Bible, for in Genesis chapter 1, we have the statements beginning from the third day through the sixth day, that each life form was to bear offspring after their kind. It does not say their offspring were of a different kind.
In the John 1:3, the Bible states, speaking of Jesus, All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
Our salvation hinges on whether Jesus told the truth about being our creator. If the theory of Evolution is true, then Jesus did not create all things. So, who do you believe, Man, or God?
